Terms & Conditions

The terms under which you use Foreverme.io and the Foreverme vault service, and how we handle your data under UK GDPR.

Last updated: 12 August 2026

1. Who we are and how to reach us

Foreverme.io ("we", "us", "our") is a digital legacy service that helps you create an AI avatar built from your memories, values, voice and stories, and preserve it for the people who come after you.

We operate from the United Kingdom. To contact us, email hello@foreverme.io or use the Support page in the app. Any contract formed through these terms is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

You are responsible for activity that happens through your account unless it happened because of a failure on our part.

4. The service: what we provide

Foreverme.io lets you build an avatar profile, record memories and answers to guided questions, clone a voice from audio you provide, generate talking-avatar video, and choose family members who can access your vault now or after you.

AI features are generated by automated systems. They may not always reflect your exact intent, may contain errors, and should not be relied on as a precise record of fact. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before preserving or sharing it.

5. Your content and rights you give us

"Your content" means anything you upload, write, record, or generate inside your vault — photos, audio, stories, answers and avatar details.

You confirm that your content belongs to you, or you have the rights to use it, and that sharing it with us and your chosen family members does not breach anyone else's rights — including the privacy of people shown or described in it.

You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, back up and display your content only as needed to run, preserve and hand over your vault to the family members you nominate. We do not sell your content or use it to train models for third parties.

6. Preserving your vault and long-term storage

When you pay a Preserve fee, we ring-fence the funds to cover cold-storage hosting intended to keep your vault online for generations. "Forever" describes our funded promise to keep hosting affordable and ongoing — not a guarantee that any digital service will exist without end. We will give reasonable notice if the way the service operates has to change.

Storage limits depend on the plan you bought. We may ask you to reduce or move content that exceeds your limit, or offer an upgrade.

7. Family access and legacy handover

You choose who can access your vault and whether access is "now" or "after". Handover after you are gone is triggered by verification we reasonably accept, such as a death certificate or the passcode you set. We are not liable for delays caused by missing or unclear verification.

Once content is handed over, your nominated family members control their copy in line with your settings and these terms.

8. Free and paid plans, payments and refunds

Free plans have limits shown on the Pricing page. Paid plans (Plus subscriptions, Preserve fees, and upgrades) are charged through Revolut, our third-party payment provider, and card data never touches our servers.

Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from your account or with Revolut. For one-time Preserve fees, you may request a refund within 14 days of payment if the vault has not yet been substantially built or preserved, less any charity amount already ring-fenced. After that window, or once hosting has begun, fees are non-refundable.

Prices may change with reasonable notice. Changes to an active subscription take effect at your next renewal, not mid-cycle.

9. Acceptable use

You will not use Foreverme.io to upload content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, that contains intimate images shared without consent, or that harms children. You will not attempt to access others' vaults, disrupt the service, or misuse AI features to deceive people about real, living individuals.

10. Things we are responsible for

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Where the law allows, our liability for loss arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100, whichever is higher. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything the law says cannot be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service grows. We will tell you about material changes in-app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the change date means you accept the updated terms.

12. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time. On closure, content you have not preserved may be deleted after a short grace period. Preserved vaults continue under the handover settings you chose.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. We will try to resolve any dispute informally first. If we cannot, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Consumer rights under UK law — including those in the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — are not affected by anything here.
